Growing Local Learning¨ is a program created by Box Tops for Education and listed stores to help shoppers earn cash for their schools.
Every person who registers for this and chooses our school will earn the 5 box tops for OCEAA.

Did you know...the funding schools get from our government is never enough to cover all of the costs of running a school?
OCEAA is no different, and with all of the amazing programs and teaching going on at the school, the teachers, staff, parents, and school board are working hard to find additional funding to keep moving OCEAA forward. You can help too!
Did you know...anyone can make a tax-deductible donation directly to OCEAA to support the school? In just a short time, approximately $7,500.00 has been raised through donations from parents and community members. You too can be part of the OCEAA Direct Giving Program, and know that every penny (or $1, $5, $10, $20, $100, or more) that you donate will go directly to where the school needs it most.
Consider what amount is comfortable for you. One donation for the school year? Monthly support to spread out your gift? For example, if you were to give just $1/day, you would support the school with $365 for your child's education! Only $10 per month means $120 this year!
Our goal is to raise $100,000 through a combination of this Direct Giving Program, school fundraisers, and grants.
Consider these examples of what could be supported this year by your generosity:
¥ Books for each classroom $250/classroom
¥ Librarian $ 6,000/year (only $12/student!)
¥ Books for library $ 5,000 (600 books!)
¥ Piano Keyboards for Music Program $5,250 (for grades 2-5)
¥ Music Teacher $10,000 (only $19/student!)

OCEAA Needs Your Help!
We are missing out on big money for our school because we do not have enough volunteers to help us with grant writing.
If you have grant writing experience, we would love you to share your talent with us.
If you don't have any grant writing experience, no worries, you can still help us with other aspects of these grants.
This is funding that will be enriching the education of children - with your help, it could be our children!

Box Tops for Education.
During these strained economic times this is an easy way to help OCEAA maintain our high standard of educational excellence, so please remember to keep collecting and sending in those box tops.
Box tops have an expiration date so send them in as soon as possible. Your child can give your box tops to his or her teacher to forward to Mrs. Gabriela Gonzalez for processing, or call FSO at 714-558-2787 x343 if you have any questions.
