Please remember...
that if your child is taking any medication during the school day s/he is not allowed to administer it her or himself or carry it in her/his backpacks. The medicine will need to be brought to the nurses office, along with the care plan from the doctor/nurse practitioner that treated her/him along with the medicine with the prescription label, dosage, name of child, expiration, date, and name of provider with phone number.
Also if your child comes to school with crutches, hand braces, or splints, please come to the nurses office before school with a note from the doctor/nurse practitioner that treated your child so that we can make sure your child is receiving the services/help s/he need to be safe and comfortable during the school day.

que si su hija/o toma cualquier medicamento durante el día escolar, no está permitida/o administrarlo si mismo o llevarlo en su mochila.
Tiene que traer la medicina a la oficina de enfermeras, juntos con un plan de tratamiento de su médico/a o enfermero/a (y su número de contacto), la calcomanía de la medicina, el dosis, nombre de la/el niña/o, y fecha de vencimiento.
También, si su hija/hijo asiste a la escuela con muletas o tablilla, favor de visitar a la oficina de enfermeras con una nota de su doctor/a o enfermero/a para que podamos asegurar que su hija/o reciba los servicios y el ayuda que necesita para estar segura/o y cómoda/o durante el día escolar.

California Has A New Immunization Law.
All 7th-12th graders are now required to get whooping cough (Tdap) shot after age 7 before starting the 2011-2012 school year.
Before starting the 2011-2012 school next year, every student in grades 7-12 must present an immunization record showing a Tdap vaccine administered after age 7.
YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RE-ENTER SCHOOL WITHOUT IT.
As soon as your child receives their shot, bring in your child's immunization record to our school. Don't delay! Call your doctor/pediatrician today and make an appointment to avoid the rush.

California tiene una nueva ley de vacunas.
Todos los alumnos del séptimo al doceavo grado ahora tienen la obligación de recibir una vacuna de tos ferina (Tdap) después de cumplir los 7 años, antes de comenzar el año escolar 2011-2012.
Antes de comenzar el año escolar 2011-2012, todos los alumnos del séptimo al doceavo grado deben presentar un registro de vacunas (cartilla de vacunas) donde conste que su hijo recibió una vacuna Tdap después de cumplir los 7 años.
A SU HIJO SE LE NEGARA EL RE-INGRESO A CLASES SIN ANTES TENER ESTE COMPROBANTE.
Tan pronto como su hijo reciba la vacuna, traiga su registro de vacunaciones a la escuela. Llame a su médico/pediatra y haga una cita hoy para evitar apuros de último momento ¡No se demore!
