The mission of the OCEAA community is to nurture all learners
to become creative, critical thinkers by providing
high quality standards-based instruction
through the arts, technology, language and culture.
OCEAA was founded in 2005 by a group of dedicated educators, parents and community partners who wanted to provide a well-rounded education to the students of Orange County. As a public charter school serving approximately 580 students grades TK-8, we and are funded directly from the state based on student attendance and are subject to the same accountability measures as other public schools. We proactively refine our curriculum and instruction to make sure students become proficient in the new Common Core Standards and expect continued student achievement and growth.
Knowing that students do better when their family is involved, we strive to create a school culture where teachers and parents are partners in the educational process. We not only encourage parent participation at OCEAA, we depend on it!
